A Personal Note About Power Up 2026 and You Can Be A Part of It

Good day,

We hope this message finds you well.

We're reaching out personally because you are someone who has already shown that you care about young people, whether through a past donation, your time as a volunteer, or simply expressing interest in what we do. That means more than you know, and we never take it for granted.

We have some exciting news to share, and we'd love for you to be part of what's coming.

Purple Mentorship for Children is turning 10 in July 2026.

A decade of showing up for young people. A decade of workshops, mentorship, care packages, and community. And to mark this milestone, we are delivering Power Up '26, our most ambitious workshop yet.

Here's what makes this year truly historic:

- It's our 10th anniversary as an organisation — a decade of impact.
- For the very first time, Power Up is welcoming BOTH boys and girls.
- Workshop dates: August 2026, Kaduna, Nigeria.
- 20 young people, ages 11–16, for one transformational week.
- Theme: Confidence. Character. Capacity.

Over five intensive days, these young people will receive mentorship, leadership training, life skills sessions, and the kind of intentional investment that most children in our communities rarely get access to. For many of them, it will be the most impactful week of their year.

And here is where we'd love your help.

We are raising funds to cover everything from the workshop venue and materials, to catering, care packages, and participant workbooks. Every contribution, no matter the size goes directly into making this week possible for these 20 young people.

Here is what your support could look like in real terms:

₦1,000 — A journal and pen for one child
₦2,500 — A full stationery pack for one child
₦10,000 — Covers a child's transport for the full week
₦25,000 — Sponsors a child's meals for all 5 days
₦50,000 — Fully sponsors one child's entire workshop experience
Any amount — Every single naira counts and is deeply appreciated
