WHY POWER UP?
- Girls need safe spaces to share their challenges, build confidence, and learn from mentors who have walked similar paths.
- Teenage years are formative. Equipping girls early with emotional intelligence, career awareness, and leadership tools sets them up for lifelong impact.
- Workshops like Power Up fill the mentorship gap — especially in underserved communities where girls have little or no access to guidance and resources.

Dear Friends,
When I started Purple Mentorship for Children, it was born from one simple truth: guidance changes lives. Over the years, I’ve seen what happens when young girls are given space to be heard, supported to dream, and equipped with the tools to lead. They shine.
The Power Up Workshop is one of our most special programs. Every year, it reminds me that what seems small—like a conversation, a notebook, or a smile—can change the direction of a girl's life.
This year’s theme, “Beyond Limits: Courage, Confidence, and Connection,” is a call to action—for our girls to rise, and for all of us to stand with them. We're creating a safe space where girls can learn, unlearn, dream big, and build a vision for their futures.
I invite you to support this mission. Whether you're giving your time, your voice, your resources, or simply cheering us on, thank you for believing in this work. Let’s help these girls power up—for good.
With gratitude,
Phateemah A
Founder, Purple Mentorship for Children
